In the first quarter of 2025, house prices, as measured by the House Price Index, increased by 5.4% in the euro area and by 5.7% in the EU compared with the same quarter of the previous year.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, house prices increased by 4.1% and 4.9% in the euro area and EU, respectively.

Compared with the fourth quarter of 2024, house prices increased by 1.3% in the euro area and by 1.4% in the EU in the first quarter of 2025.
