The Parliament of Estonia considered a bill to close the border with Russia. It is reported that Estonian deputies did not support the corresponding initiative. Twenty parliamentarians voted for the bill, while 47 opposed it. To adopt the proposal, it needed to be approved by at least 51 deputies. "The initiator was the Isamaa party, which stated that closing the border would allow to 'reduce risks, avoid unforeseen incidents, and enhance security,'" Estonian media quoted on social networks.
