The value of exported goods increased by 6 % and of imported goods by 11.4 %. In March, Latvia exported goods in the amount of EUR 1.85 billion, but imported in the amount of EUR 2.24 billion.
As exports in the total foreign trade decreased from 46.4 % in March 2025 to 45.2 % in March 2026, the foreign trade balance worsened.
Compared to February this year, the export value went up by 19.1 %, but the import value by 18.9 %.
