Управление дроном

"The first devices have been installed and are operational. This is, of course, just the beginning: we are moving towards creating a network to counter drones that will cover all of Estonia, but this step shows that the preparatory work done has borne fruit. Recent incidents with drones demonstrate that when planning our capabilities, we realistically assessed the threats and made balanced decisions. Our eastern border is well protected, and enhancing our drone countermeasures increases the sense of security for all of Europe," said Minister of the Interior Igor Taro. On Friday in Southeastern Estonia, Taro reviewed both the progress of construction work on the eastern border near the Saatseski boot area and the status of monitoring system installations along the Piusa River line. In areas where stationary monitoring equipment is not yet available or that require increased attention, border guards demonstrated the use of new mobile surveillance systems. "I have confirmed that border protection capabilities are improving every day. Work is ongoing, construction is not standing still, our border guard is reliable and getting better," Taro said. The construction of the eastern border and the enhancement of monitoring capabilities using drones are being carried out with co-financing from the European Union.
