In the final, Latvia won by a score of 20:15, following their tense 20:19 semi-final win over Serbia earlier on Sunday, to score their first ever World Cup title and the best result since their famous gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
The Latvian national team participated in the tournament with the following lineup: Nauris Miezis, Kārlis Lasmanis, Francis Lācis and Zigmārs Raimo.
