In the staff led by head coach Alexey Zhamnov, Latvian hockey player and coach Peters Skudra will join. The 53-year-old Skudra previously headed Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo (2013–2018), Chelyabinsk's Traktor (2019), and Riga's Dinamo (2020–2021) in the KHL. In recent years, the Latvian specialist has led clubs in Slovakia and Romania. The 56-year-old Koreshkov finished last season as head coach of Traktor. Previously, he worked at Metallurg-2, Stalnye Lisy, Metallurg, Barys, CSKA, and SKA. With the Moscow army team, he became a two-time holder of the Gagarin Cup (2019, 2022). He also won another Cup with Metallurg in 2014. From 2010 to 2015, he was an assistant to Valery Bragin on the Russian youth national team, with which he won the World Championship (2011). During his professional career as a goaltender, Skudra played six seasons in the NHL (147 games for Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Boston, and Vancouver). As part of the Latvian national team, Peters Skudra participated in three World Championships.
