According to Ushakov, Moscow and Washington have agreed on a new visit by American representatives, who are currently also dealing with issues related to the situation in the Middle East. "It has been agreed that the special representatives of the U.S. President, Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner, who are currently closely engaged in Iranian affairs, will come to Russia again in the near future," the Kremlin aide told reporters. The upcoming trip will mark another stage of diplomatic contacts between Moscow and Washington amid ongoing negotiations on international security issues and the resolution of the war in Ukraine. Earlier this week, Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with U.S. President's special representatives Steve Whitcoff and Jared Kushner. Ukrainian media also reported that Kyiv is expecting a visit from an American delegation that had previously been postponed. At the same time, representatives of the Ukrainian authorities emphasized that contacts involving the U.S. continue, despite the absence of public meetings and statements. The official dates for Whitcoff and Kushner's new trip to Russia have not yet been disclosed.
