Clinical psychologist and educator Anton Korovin explained that a person's behavior in the digital space often reflects their usual way of interacting with the world. According to the specialist, the manner of using a phone can become a kind of everyday personality test — albeit not scientific in the strictest sense. **One Hand and Thumb: Independent Strategist** This method is chosen by strong and self-sufficient individuals who are used to relying only on themselves. "If you manage the screen with one hand and your thumb, you are likely an independent strategist," said clinical psychologist Anton Korovin. "You are self-assured, accustomed to relying solely on your own strengths, and quick to make decisions." Such people may sometimes appear infantile from the outside, but their main advantage reveals itself in extreme conditions. The psychologist emphasizes that in stressful situations, they always maintain their composure. **Both Hands and Thumbs: Subtle Diplomat** This algorithm is characteristic of people who organically avoid conflicts and strive for harmony in everything. "If you type with both hands using your thumbs, you are likely a diplomat type of personality," explains the expert. According to the psychologist, such users value life stability and comfort above all. Before taking an important step, they show a pronounced tendency to weigh everything carefully. **One Hand and Index Finger: Creative Impulse** The characteristic "poke" at the screen reveals a creative, easy-going, and very emotional nature. "If you use one hand but move your index finger across the screen, typing with what is called a poke — that’s a creative impulse," states Korovin. "You are a creative person, acting on emotions and inspiration." These individuals hate routine and can instantly switch between tasks. But there is a downside: due to their impulsiveness, they often forget important details, which constantly distracts them. **Horizontally with Both Hands: Multitasking Strategist** A wide grip on the device indicates expansive thinking and leadership qualities, even if the person is not currently engaged in a game. "If you hold your phone horizontally with both hands — you are a multitasking strategist," notes the psychologist. "You are used to seeing the big picture, can plan well, and often play the role of an idea generator in a team." **Holding the Bottom Without Touching the Screen: Conservative Observer** The rarest and most cautious gesture reveals a secretive, incredibly principled person. "If you hold the phone by the bottom without touching the screen with your fingers — you are a conservative observer," states the specialist. "You likely prefer tried-and-true methods and act according to rules, valuing quality and aesthetics." Such individuals know how to listen attentively to their interlocutor. However, engaging in debate with them is futile: in arguments, they rarely concede if they are confident in their correctness. However, it is certainly not worth looking for infallible medical diagnoses in these gestures. "Undoubtedly, this test is simply a reason to reflect on your habits," summarizes Anton Korovin. "So do not take it as a strict truth."
