The contest will bring together competitors in the F-4 class. Latvia will be represented by five pilots. Athletes from 10 countries will participate in the competition, including the always strong Nordic pilots. Latvia will be represented by Renārs Špacs, Roberts Minings, Niklāvs Rimeicāns, and the Slakteris brothers. Nils Slakteris is the world champion in the F-4 class.
The fiercest competitors are usually Scandinavians.
