Renowned sociologist, head of the SKDS sociological center, Arnis Kaktiņš, in an interview with publicist and political technologist Jurgis Liepnieks on a YouTube channel, described the sharp rise in popularity of the United List as a logical outcome. According to the sociologist, the charismatic newly appointed Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs has taken votes not only from government partners - the 'Green Farmers' and 'New Unity' - but also from Hermanis's new party 'We Are Changing the Rules'. "He 'ate' Hermanis for lunch or breakfast," the sociologist is convinced. In his view, if not long ago Hermanis's party was associated with possible radical changes, with Kulbergs's arrival as Prime Minister, many voters began to associate their hopes for change with him. The main intrigue is how long voters will be satisfied with only Kulbergs's energy and charisma, and at what point they will demand results. For his part, Jurgis Liepnieks wants to see how the politicians of 'New Unity' and the 'Green Farmers' will react to everything happening when they start to take action, realizing that it is Kulbergs and Co. who are effectively sinking them.
