Throughout the summer, yoga classes will be held once a week on Thursday mornings, before the museum opens to visitors, from 9:00 to 10:00. In the museum's enclosed spaces, surrounded by works of art, everyone can strengthen their body, calm their mind, and consciously take care of their well-being. After the class, participants will have the opportunity to explore the museum's permanent exhibition. "Our goal is to reach a broader audience and inspire people to spend more time on themselves. The atmosphere of the museum helps to distract from the daily hustle and bustle, relieve stress, and reconnect with one's body—in a creative and calm environment that invites you to be here and now," emphasizes Vineta Klotinya, the head of the 'Jivamukti Yoga Riga' studio. The classes will be conducted by certified yoga instructors from the 'Jivamukti Yoga Riga' studio, and no prior physical preparation or knowledge is required to participate. Each class will begin with a short warm-up, followed by medium-intensity exercises, and will conclude with relaxation and meditation. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle and, if desired, their own yoga mat.
