In the afternoon, the air temperature will warm up to +23...+26 degrees. It will be slightly cooler on the coast, where, due to the influence of the sea, temperatures in some places will not exceed +21 degrees. Riga is also expected to have dry and sunny weather. During the day, thermometers will show around +21 degrees on the seaside and up to +24 degrees in the southern part of the city. These conditions will be favorable for outdoor recreation; however, on the coast, due to the sea breeze, it may feel noticeably cooler than in the central areas of the country. Meteorologists also warn of a high level of ultraviolet radiation. From 11:00 to 16:00, it is recommended to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, use sunscreen, and wear a hat. The weather in Latvia will continue to be determined by the eastern periphery of the anticyclone. Atmospheric pressure will be 1019–1022 hPa, which corresponds to a stable weather situation. Thus, the middle of the week will pass without precipitation and with comfortable summer temperatures, with the warmest areas of the country being the inland territories, away from the coast.
