From June 30 to July 2, in the Polish city of Luban, representatives of the State Border Guard of Latvia participated in the V International Service Dog Competition organized by the Polish Border Guard, reports Valsts robežsardze. During the business trip, the Latvian delegation also met with representatives of law enforcement agencies from Poland, the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary, and Slovakia. The meetings were dedicated to strengthening international cooperation in accordance with existing agreements. The State Border Guard notes that participation in such international competitions contributes to the professional development of dog handlers, strengthens cooperation with foreign partners, and increases the recognition of the Latvian border service at the international level. The agency congratulated its employees on their successful performance, emphasizing that they are proud of the achievements of Latvian dog handlers and their high professional level.
