Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal lamented that Latvia is slowing down the entire Rail Baltica construction process. He expressed readiness, together with Lithuania, to help their Latvian neighbors build our section of the railway faster and cheaper. In response to these words from the Estonian Prime Minister, political scientist and publicist Jurģis Liepnieks commented on social media platform X: "I don’t know if a state can experience more shame than this - neighbors are already offering help again because they understand that Latvians cannot organize and manage processes, and moreover, it is likely that everything is thoroughly corrupt, because everything is dramatically more expensive."
