В Риге пройдет выставка лилий

The Latvian National Museum of Natural History invites visitors to the annual exhibition "Lilies 2026," which will take place from July 16 to 18. The event has been organized in collaboration with the "Lilium Balticum" association for over three decades and is considered one of the most vibrant events of the gardening season. Exhibition guests will be able to see more than 150 varieties of lilies grown in Latvian gardens. The display will include Asian, trumpet, and hybrid varieties created by both local and foreign breeders. Special attention will be given to several dozen new varieties that will be presented to the public for the first time. The organizers offer not only to admire the flowers but also to appreciate the richness of their aromas and palette. The exhibition will feature lilies in white, yellow, orange, pink, and red shades. Visitors are advised to pay special attention to trumpet lilies, which Latvian breeders are justly proud of. During the exhibition, specialists from the "Lilium Balticum" association will answer visitors' questions, share information about the cultivation and breeding of lilies, help select the most suitable varieties for gardens, and take orders for bulbs. Additionally, guests will be able to choose their favorite flower and participate in voting for the most beautiful lily of the exhibition. The author of the variety that receives the most votes will be awarded the traveling trophy of the "Lilium Balticum" association.
