On the night of Saturday, brief rain will occur in the western part of the country. In the afternoon, a precipitation zone will begin to cross Latvia from the west, bringing rain to many regions of the country. In the western and central parts of Latvia, heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected in some areas. On the night of Saturday, a light wind will persist, and fog may form in some places. However, by Saturday morning, the wind will strengthen: gusts will reach speeds of up to 15 meters per second. At night, the air temperature will be +15...+20 degrees. The heat will still remain on Saturday: in many areas, the air will warm up to +24...+29 degrees. On Sunday, the maximum air temperature will be +18...+23 degrees. At the beginning of next week, a new cyclone will form near the border of Latvia, so rain will occur from time to time, with some prolonged and possibly heavy. The daytime air temperature will be around +20 degrees. A north wind will prevail, moderate and occasionally gusty along the coast.
