The temperature will rise to +19...+24 degrees, with the wind remaining light to moderate, from the southwest and south. For those planning to spend Sunday outdoors, the forecast looks more favorable: after a rainy night, most of the day should pass without significant precipitation. Meteorologists also remind that the ultraviolet radiation index will be moderate. In Riga, rain and possible thunderstorms with heavy downpours are also expected at night. The temperature will drop to +16...+18 degrees. During the day, cloudy weather with clearings is forecasted in the capital, with no precipitation, and the air will warm up to +22...+24 degrees. However, the improvement will be short-lived. Early next week, a new cyclone will approach Latvia, bringing unstable weather once again. According to meteorologists, on Monday and Tuesday, prolonged, locally heavy rains are expected in many areas. Additionally, the wind will strengthen, with gusts reaching 15–18 meters per second. Thus, Sunday will be a brief respite before a new period of rainy and windy weather.
