The Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that members of the delegation received entry visas and are not under international sanctions, reports Newsmaker. According to the agency, the trip was initiated after consultations between local agricultural producers and the Ministry of Agriculture regarding the possibility of providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, which is facing a threat to food security. At the same time, it was emphasized in Chisinau that Moldova does not recognize the 'Taliban' government in Afghanistan. "In this regard, we would like to inform that no bilateral meetings or official contacts with representatives of the delegation will take place. The government has instructed to review the procedure for issuing invitations and visas, as well as internal procedures," the Moldovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized.
