In the village of Krasny Bor near St. Petersburg, a fire broke out at a Wildberries warehouse following a nighttime attack by Ukrainian drones. The fire was reported by both Ukrainian and Russian media. Eyewitnesses published videos showing the fire in the logistics complex. Later, Wildberries' press service confirmed that the company's facility in Krasny Bor sustained damage. Another target of the attack was a Wildberries warehouse in Chekhov, a suburb of Moscow. According to preliminary information from Russian authorities, five people were killed and six others were injured there. This is not the first strike on the company's facilities. According to Ukrainian sources, attacks on Wildberries warehouses have been ongoing since July 18, and the number of damaged logistics facilities has already exceeded 15. The Ukrainian side claims that Wildberries warehouses are used not only for civilian logistics. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and military analysts have previously stated that components for drones and navigation equipment used by the Russian army pass through the company’s logistics centers. According to Ukrainian estimates, strikes on such facilities also force Russia to disperse its air defense resources, making it easier to attack other military targets deeper within the country. Russian authorities have not confirmed claims of military use of Wildberries warehouses. At the same time, Moscow regularly accuses Ukraine of attacking civilian infrastructure in Russian territory. For its part, Ukraine has repeatedly accused Russia of strikes on civilian infrastructure, including logistics facilities, particularly terminals of the company Nova Poshta.
