**Denmark** The official currency in this Scandinavian country is the Danish krone (DKK). The krone is consistently pegged to the euro through the European Exchange Rate Mechanism. As of today, Denmark has no plans to switch to the euro. **Poland** The official currency of Poland is currently the Polish zloty (PLN). Poland is not planning to switch to the euro yet, as local authorities believe the current economy is not ready for the eurozone. **Romania** This country currently uses its own currency – the Romanian leu (RON). Romania aims to switch to the euro within the next 3-4 years. **Hungary** This country currently uses the Hungarian forint (HUF) as its national currency. At the same time, Hungary plans to join the eurozone by 2030, but it needs to implement several more reforms to do so. **Czech Republic** The country still circulates its own currency – the Czech koruna (CZK). At the moment, there are no clear plans in the country to switch to the euro, as there is still no consensus in society on this issue. **Sweden** This Scandinavian country also uses its own currency – the Swedish krona (SEK). Like its neighbor Denmark, Sweden currently has no plans to switch to the euro, considering its currency strong and self-sufficient enough.
