A video of a guide cat leading its blind dog friend around the house with meowing has gone viral on social media, reports Daily Mail. Robin Wagner adopted a puppy named Blaze from a shelter in April 2019. She was informed that the dog was born blind in one eye. A year and a half after surgery, Blaze completely lost his sight, but this did not prevent him from living a full life, largely thanks to his friend, a cat named Satin. The cat learned to meow to guide Blaze on how to move so he wouldn’t bump into furniture and walls. According to Robin, Satin did not immediately become a guide. After Blaze went blind, he often knocked into the cat, and she started meowing in advance so he would know where she was. Over time, the bond between the animals strengthened, and the cat began using her meowing to warn Blaze of collisions with objects. Interestingly, according to the owner, Satin is not the most affectionate cat, but she and the dog have become very close friends. The animals not only walk together but also play and sleep next to each other.
