The company notes that the profession of a trolleybus driver requires responsibility, attentiveness, and the ability to remain calm in various traffic situations. Previous work experience is not required — all necessary knowledge and skills can be acquired during training. The training program lasts four months. “Rīgas satiksme” covers both theoretical classes and practical driving training, as well as providing students with a scholarship. After successfully completing the course, employment contracts are signed with the new specialists. Individuals over 21 years old with basic, secondary, or vocational education can become trolleybus drivers. It is also necessary to have proficiency in the Latvian language at least at the B1 level or to have received education in the Latvian language. A category B driver's license is not required to enroll in the training — the company provides all necessary preparation for obtaining the qualification.
