Recently, the singer Don (Arturs Shingerejs) celebrated his 42nd birthday. Over the years of his career, he has managed to turn music not only into creativity but also into a successful business, adhering to a simple financial rule: spend less than you earn, writes [tautaruna.lv](https://nra.lv/tautaruna/slavenibas/526638-cik-donam-ir-naudas.htm) referencing the magazine Jauns&Privāts. As the artist himself explained, this approach helps him manage his money wisely. > "You need to spend less than you earn," Don formulates his main financial principle, which, according to him, has been confirmed in practice more than once. The main income for the musician comes from concerts and royalties. He succinctly describes other sources of income with the words: "everything else." Don has been engaged in entrepreneurship for many years. He opened his first clothing store at the age of 20. Later, together with the musician from the band Prāta vētra, Kaspars Roga, and the owner of the club Piens, Girts Upitis, he participated in the development of the restaurant Engure Cafe. Over time, the musician sold his share in this business. Don's main project today is the company Pietura 1984, founded in 2013. The musician is its sole owner and beneficiary. The company is engaged in organizing and conducting his large solo concerts. According to published financial statements, 2024 was particularly successful for the enterprise. Against the backdrop of large concert shows, the company's turnover approached 1 million euros, and profits exceeded 440 thousand euros. At the same time, the company's bank accounts currently hold 513,567 euros, and the enterprise has no debts. The successful financial indicators show that for Don, concert activity remains not only a creative but also a very profitable endeavor, and the company he created continues to develop confidently.
