It Became Known Who Produces the Most Humanoid Robots

China accounts for 97% of global supplies of humanoid robots, reports Bloomberg. In the first half of 2026, approximately 19,100 humanoid robots were delivered worldwide - nearly four times more than in the same period of 2025 (5,100 robots), writes Deutsche Welle. The leader in this market is AgiBot from Shanghai. Over six months, AgiBot delivered about 8,400 robots - approximately 44% of the total global supply. In second place is Unitree from Hangzhou (5,900 units). These figures significantly exceed the supply volumes of leading American companies such as Tesla, Figure AI, and Agility Robotics. At the end of July, the United States banned the import of humanoid and quadruped robots, as well as a number of components for them. The restrictions were justified by the claim that imported robots could be used for espionage and surveillance of Americans. Authorities emphasized that the measure is not directed against any specific country. Nevertheless, the new rules primarily blocked access to the U.S. market for Chinese manufacturers.
