According to him, countries are not taking any steps to avoid global escalation. "I feel that we are on the brink of a great war. That is why I hoped that someone would already take steps to avoid this. But that has not happened and will not happen in the near future. This means we are on the brink of something significantly more serious," Vučić said in a podcast with Matthias Döpfner, chairman of the board of the media conglomerate Axel Springer. In Vučić's opinion, in the next five years, leading world powers will strive for greater independence and less dependence on external forces. Vučić considers the main centers of power in the "new world" to be the USA and China, as reported by RTVI US. Following them, according to his forecast, will be the European Union, and then a bloc of Russia, India, and other major regional powers.
