Performers such as Auļi, Citi zēni, Sudden Lights, Alejas, Atvara, Ozols, and others will take the stage, and in the evening at 22:00, there will be a concert titled "My Score — Riga." After the concert, a laser, fountain, and video show will be held over the Daugava River, followed by a night program featuring DJs. In Old Riga, the streets will transform into a large open stage. Street musicians, mimes, pantomime artists, and movement theater performers will entertain the audience, culminating in a mass flash mob at Town Hall Square. A crafts fair will operate throughout the day at Dome Square. Vermanes Garden will host an international program: foreign embassies and Riga's sister cities will present their exhibitions, and in the evening, concerts will await guests. The Re Rīga! festival of contemporary circus and street art will also continue here, with this year's main theme being "Together." For families with children, a rich program is prepared in Victory Park. In addition to performances, games, and workshops, street artists from several European countries will perform, there will be bubble shows, interactive installations, and an unusual art performance featuring live horses. Sports enthusiasts will also have plenty to choose from. The traditional 24-hour basketball tournament "Match of the Shores" will kick off on the Esplanade, concluding on Sunday. Simultaneously, the "Riga Football Festival — 2026" will take place near the Riga Congress Centre. This year, special attention will be drawn to the Red Bull Showrun. Spectators will be able to see a Formula 1 car, drift shows, rally vehicles, and a performance by Latvian driver Mārtiņš Sesks. One of the most unusual events of the day will be the appearance of the legendary racing car Auto Union Type C on the streets of the capital. The car, created in the 1930s based on Ferdinand Porsche's design, will drive through the streets of Riga from the Motor Museum to the Freedom Monument, where it will be on display for visitors from 12:00 to 18:00. The last time the sound of this car's engine was heard by Riga residents was nearly 30 years ago — in 1997. Therefore, this showing will be a rare opportunity to see one of the most famous pre-war racing cars in action.
