Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez officially became husband and wife on August 11. The ceremony took place at the footballer's recently acquired home in Cascais, near Lisbon. Only the couple's five children and four invited guests attended the wedding. According to Portuguese media, a day before the marriage registration, the spouses visited a notary office in Lisbon, where they signed a prenuptial agreement. The document stipulates a separation of property regime, despite Ronaldo and Rodriguez living together for ten years. Additionally, the published marriage certificate revealed that Georgina kept her maiden name. The document also includes the full names of the spouses, their place of birth, and information about their parents. The guest list also sparked discussions. According to Portuguese television presenter Cristina Ferreira, the ceremony did not include the footballer's mother, Dolores Aveiro, nor his brother and sisters. Moreover, relatives allegedly learned about the wedding just a few minutes before it began. However, there were no signs of family conflict following the celebration. After the couple posted a photo with their wedding rings, Ronaldo's mother reposted the picture on her social media page. It is reported that she blessed her son and his chosen one, and the footballer's sister Katya also shared a wedding photo. After the wedding, Ronaldo has already returned to Saudi Arabia, where he resumed training with Al Nassr. Although the ceremony took place in an atmosphere of complete secrecy, the published documents and new details showed that the spouses had settled property issues in advance and decided to maintain their usual family life.
