The draft order from the Ministry of Transport provides for the transfer to the state of not only planned but also actual information about passenger trips on all types of long-distance transport. According to "Verstka," starting in 2024, an automated system of centralized databases for passenger and crew personal data will be in operation in Russia. Carriers and booking services are already transmitting information about ticket purchases and refunds, their reissuance, passenger boarding and disembarking, as well as flight departures and cancellations. For air and rail transport, data must be submitted to the system within 15 minutes, while for road, maritime, and domestic water transport, it must be within 30 minutes. The new project provides for the transmission of actual trip data, including regular and charter flights. For air transport, it will also be necessary to report information about layovers and baggage parameters. In addition, each trip is planned to be assigned a unique code.
