The top ten also includes: Portugal, Taiwan, Lithuania, Hong Kong, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Czech Republic, Malta. And what about Latvia? It ranked lower than Estonia and Lithuania, but still relatively high at 19th place, ahead of Costa Rica and Spain. However, actual migration flows look different. According to UN data for 2024, the highest number of migrants resides in the USA, where their number reaches 52.4 million. Germany is in second place with 16.8 million migrants, followed by Saudi Arabia (13.7 million), the United Kingdom (11.8 million), France (9.2 million), Spain (8.9 million), Canada (8.8 million), and the United Arab Emirates (8.2 million).
