A fire broke out at a military drone manufacturing plant in Poland. The country's Internal Security Agency is investigating the incident as a possible act of sabotage, a representative of the Polish authorities reported on Monday. The fire erupted last night at the WB Electronics plant in Skarżysko-Kamienna, about 150 kilometers south of Warsaw. The fire has now been extinguished. According to police, no one was injured as a result of the incident. "We take this matter very seriously. Employees of the Internal Security Agency (ABW) are already on the scene," said the spokesperson for the coordinator of special services to the TVN24 channel. He emphasized that it is still too early to confidently say that sabotage was the cause of the fire. WB Electronics is the largest private defense company in Poland and a supplier to the Polish army. The company specializes in the development and production of modern technologies for the defense industry. In particular, the company produces digital control systems, communication equipment, modern unmanned systems, as well as strike complexes. The plant in Skarżysko-Kamienna manufactures key components for unmanned aerial vehicles. The causes of the fire have not yet been officially determined. The involvement of the Internal Security Agency in the investigation means that the version of possible sabotage is being examined; however, Polish authorities have not yet drawn any final conclusions about the nature of the incident.
