He is one of the first ministers to ignore the largest union in the industry, thereby losing social dialogue and the ability to understand the objective needs and opinions of the workers. The union has reviewed the three main areas of work publicly announced by the minister; however, the minister has not found the time to discuss these areas with the union. From the minister's side, there is a "fight against migration," but there is no clear position regarding measures that would improve the daily life, welfare, wages, and technical support of the employees of the internal affairs system, said Augustans. There is no clear position from the minister, and the union cannot tell its members whether salaries will decrease next year and whether the additional payment of 300 euros will remain. "Unfortunately, the union has not noted any specific work that the current Minister of the Interior has done," said Augustans.
