According to meteorologists' forecasts, rain will occur periodically, although its intensity and amount are currently assessed differently. On Tuesday and Wednesday, variable cloudiness is expected. Brief rain showers will occur in some areas, and thunderstorms are not ruled out. With light to moderate southern and southwestern winds, the air temperature on Tuesday will range from +18 to +22 degrees, while on Wednesday, it may rise to +26 degrees in some regions. This will be the warmest period of the week, making the middle of the week suitable for outdoor recreation. However, outdoor plans should be made considering the possibility of brief downpours and thunderstorms. In the second half of the week, the likelihood of rain will remain. The wind will shift to the west and southwest, becoming moderate, and the temperature will drop slightly. At night, temperatures are expected to be between +8 and +13 degrees, while along the coast, it will be noticeably warmer—locally not lower than +16 degrees. During the day, the air will warm up to +16 to +21 degrees. According to the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts, the amount of precipitation in Latvia this week and next week is likely to be above the climatic norm. At the same time, air temperatures will remain close to or slightly above the usual values for September. Thus, the week promises to be warm but changeable: sunny periods will regularly alternate with rain, and by the weekend, the weather will become slightly cooler.
