Member of the Saeima from the National Alliance Arturs Butans announced on the social network X about the plans of the Ministry of Transport to cease bus passenger transportation to Russia. "The Riga-Moscow routes will be discontinued from January 2027. Latvia has no need to maintain transport links with an aggressor country while simultaneously exposing itself to diversions and national security risks," the parliamentarian is convinced.
