A recent situation was encountered by a buyer who expressed confusion on social media regarding the additional expenses when purchasing three tickets for an event at the "Xiaomi Arēna." From the payment document published by the buyer, it is evident that the total price for the three tickets is 147 euros, which is 49 euros for each ticket. However, in addition to the ticket prices, an extra 7.50 euros was charged for the "Xiaomi Arēna" service fee and another 11.40 euros for using the online store. As a result, the total amount reached 165.90 euros. "W*F, what is the Xiaomi Arēna service fee? And why is the internet transaction fee 11 euros?!?!" the buyer writes on the social network "Threads." The post sparked a wider discussion, and others in the comments also shared their experiences of purchasing tickets online. One commenter noted that in a similar situation, she refused the online purchase and decided to buy tickets in person: "I believe it is absolutely unreasonable to pay for entering the website, clicking everything myself, and still paying for it." In turn, another user pointed out that he would not mind a small and reasonable transaction fee, but the issue lies in its size: "I wouldn’t mind a small and fair transaction fee, but as a percentage of the ticket prices, that’s already unfair." ![Ekranuznemums-2026-09-08-110922-1024x872.png](https://bb.lv/storage/upload/Ekranuznemums-2026-09-08-110922-1024x872.png)
