This evening during a live debate on Latvian TV, Prime Minister Andris Kulbergs, speaking about the situation in public administration, noted: "In a normal situation, the Saeima passes laws and officials implement them. However, in our case, officials prepare and bring laws to the Saeima for approval." In turn, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Baiba Braže, lamented that after the scandal involving support for the woodworking industry, officials are now afraid to put their signature on documents at all.
