After several rainy days, the weather in Latvia will begin to improve. On Friday, forecasters predict some variable cloudiness, with the sun predominating over the clouds for most of the day. Light, short-lived rains are still possible in the first half of the day, mainly in the central and eastern regions of the country. However, by noon, precipitation will significantly decrease. Daytime temperatures will range from +16 to +20 degrees, making the weather comfortable for walks and outdoor work. Winds from the west and northwest will still be quite noticeable in places. Gusts will reach 9–14 meters per second, but in the afternoon and evening, the wind will gradually die down. Riga is also expected to have predominantly sunny weather. A brief rain is possible in the morning, after which precipitation will cease. The maximum temperature in the capital will reach +19 degrees. The improvement in the weather is associated with the strengthening of a high-pressure area, which is gradually displacing the cyclonic system. Atmospheric pressure will continue to rise and will be 1009–1016 hectopascals in the morning. Thus, Friday will be noticeably calmer compared to previous days and will create good conditions for the start of the weekend.
