Institutions had to change their working hours, make structural changes to buildings, and refund ticket money. The Louvre was hit the hardest: in June and July, the museum closed early 11 times, resulting in the cancellation of 60,000 tickets. The losses amounted to at least €1 million, and attendance dropped by 9% compared to 2025. At the Palace of Versailles, attendance decreased by 33%, with losses estimated at over €260,000. The Grand Palais lost about €160,000 in ticket sales and in shops. The Orsay Museum and the Orangerie Museum refunded visitors €70,000 and €60,000, respectively.
