According to meteorologists, the cloud cover will gradually begin to dissipate from the northwest of the country, so in the afternoon, many areas will see more clearings. The air temperature during the day will warm up to +16…+20 degrees, which corresponds to a comfortable temperature for mid-September. The wind will be light, with a moderate northern wind expected at times along the coast. In Riga, brief rain is also not excluded. After noon, the clouds will decrease, and the wind will shift to a northern direction, remaining light or moderate. The maximum air temperature in the capital will be around +18 degrees. Despite the rainy start to the day, no significant deterioration in weather is expected. For most residents, the precipitation will be short-lived, and by evening, the likelihood of rain will decrease. Meteorologists note that the weather in Latvia is increasingly influenced by an area of high atmospheric pressure. This is contributing to a gradual stabilization of weather conditions.
