In some publications, this amount was mistakenly inflated by a thousand times — to $20–60 million. The pyramidal tomb is located in the historic St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. Cage purchased two adjacent plots there in 2010, not during a trip to New Orleans ten years later. On one of these, the actor's future mausoleum was built.  The facade of the pyramid is engraved with the Latin phrase Omnia Ab Uno, which can be translated as "Everything from one" or "All from one." Cage himself has not elaborated on the meaning of the inscription or the reasons for choosing the unusual shape. It is not definitively established why the California native chose to be buried in Louisiana. However, the actor has long been associated with New Orleans: he previously owned property in the city and has repeatedly spoken about his special attachment to this place. The unusual tomb has already become one of the attractions of the cemetery and is included in the routes of official tours. Thus, this is not a new extravagant acquisition by Cage, but rather a tomb built back in 2010 that has once again come into the media spotlight.
