At night, an air raid alert was declared in Rostov-on-Don, after which local residents began posting photos of a large fire online. According to available information, the fire broke out at the military airfield "Rostov-on-Don - Central." One of the fire hotspots was located in the aircraft parking area. Later, the General Staff of Ukraine reported that two transport aircraft — An-26 and An-12 — as well as three helicopters were damaged as a result of the strike. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, stated that an electrical substation was also damaged during the attack, causing power outages in four districts of the city. According to him, there were no casualties among the people. On the same night, drones attacked Yaroslavl. The strike hit the local oil refinery "Slavneft-YANOS," where a large fire broke out. The General Staff of Ukraine reported that the primary oil processing unit at the facility was damaged. "Slavneft-YANOS" is one of the largest oil refineries in Russia. Its capacity is about 15 million tons of oil per year. The facility produces gasoline, diesel and aviation fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and other products, including those used to meet the needs of the Russian army.
