During the evening, guests became acquainted with the concept of the new restaurant and its gastronomic vision. The chef of 'Jūras Pērle', Nikita Pribylsky, presented dishes from the main menu, which is based on products from the Baltic region and a modern take on local cuisine. The restaurant's sommeliers and bartenders conducted thematic masterclasses for the guests, while the 'Jūras Pērle' team shared the history and philosophy of the establishment, gradually immersing guests in an atmosphere inspired by Baltic nature. The idea of closeness to the sea and nature became one of the central themes of the evening — from the interior and presentation of dishes to the overall concept of the restaurant.  Among the guests at the opening were the mayor of Jūrmala, Jānis Ledins, artist Vladislav Lakše, businessmen Leonid Estherkin and Jānis Zuzans, singer Laima Vaikule, as well as representatives of Latvian business, culture, and public life.  — The 'Jūras Pērle' restaurant is the voice of our empirical experience, filtered through the prism of skill and awareness. We take what nature gives us, add a bit of haute cuisine, a lot of hard work, a touch of courage and adventurousness — and we get what we want to share with you: our vision of Baltic cuisine,” noted the restaurant's chef Nikita Pribylsky.  As part of the opening, the restaurant team also presented a new events program for the establishment. It will be regularly updated according to the season and will include various gastronomic, cultural, and entertainment events. A special place in the restaurant's concept is occupied by its name. 'Jūras Pērle' is not just a new establishment, but an attempt to revive a name that has been inextricably linked to Jūrmala for many decades. — The original 'Jūras Pērle' was one of the most famous restaurants in the Soviet Union. Being the avant-garde of gastronomy, a benchmark of architecture, and a calling card of Jūrmala, it was known to almost everyone. With great honor, immense responsibility, and a strong sense of duty, our team takes on the commitment to revive this name and give it new life. And who knows, maybe even resurrect the 'Jūras Pērle' that everyone once knew,” stated the restaurant owner Emanuel Grinshpun.  Today, the new 'Jūras Pērle' begins its own story, preserving the connection with the cultural and gastronomic heritage of Jūrmala while simultaneously offering a modern interpretation of Baltic cuisine.
