Programs from October 4 to 10 and from December 6 to 12 are intended for women and men who have undergone various oncological diseases. Participation is possible together with a loved one. A separate program will take place from October 18 to 24. It is designed for parents of children with oncological diseases, as well as for cancer patients who wish to come with their child. The age of the children is from five to 16 years. **Specialist Assistance** A cancer diagnosis is often accompanied by fear, uncertainty, and many questions about future life. Therefore, the society emphasizes that comprehensive support is especially important for the patient and their family. For six days, participants will work with a psychotherapist, psychologist, art therapist, physiotherapist, and physical activity trainers. Educational sessions will also be provided with the participation of a nutrition specialist, oncologist, oncology nurse, and herbalist. The programs take place at the Dignājas muiža in the Dignāja parish of the Jēkabpils region. The rehabilitation center is surrounded by a large park and an apple orchard. For participants who cannot get there on their own, Dzīvības koks organizes transportation from Riga. Participation in the programs is fully funded by the state. The number of places is limited. Applications can be submitted on the Dzīvības koks website.
