On Thursday morning, an unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered in Romania's Suceava County, located near the border with Ukraine. This was reported by Romanian authorities. Due to the incident, classes were canceled until 10:00 in schools across four localities. According to the Romanian Ministry of Defense, the drone was in the country's airspace for about four minutes before crashing near the town of Solca. No injuries were reported, and no damage was recorded. The incident occurred against the backdrop of another attack by Russian drones on Ukrainian territory near the Romanian border. To monitor the situation, two Spanish Air Force F-18 fighters, participating in NATO's airspace patrol mission, were deployed. Such incidents are not unprecedented. During Russia's massive attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure, drones have repeatedly ended up in the territories of countries bordering Ukraine. On the same morning, Moldova also reported a violation of its airspace. According to the country's authorities, several aerial objects entered from the Ukrainian regions of Odesa, Chernivtsi, and Vinnytsia. Meanwhile, Romanian authorities continue to investigate the origin of the discovered drone and the circumstances of its crash.
