The Secret to a Clean Blender After chopping meat in a blender, especially raw meat, fibers often get stuck on the blade, making them difficult to remove. To clean the blender blade from food residues, I came up with a method I call the “self-cleaner.” I pour water into a deep bowl, immerse the blender blade in it, and turn it on for about 30 seconds. After this procedure, the blade becomes perfectly clean, and the food residues remain in the water. Now there’s no need to spend time and effort cleaning the blender from tough stains. Scratch-Free Laminate How many times have I asked not to walk on the laminate in shoes with metal tips, but unfortunately, noticeable scratches have appeared on the surface. I bought a special wax crayon for laminate restoration at a hardware store. The crayons come in various colors, so I took a sample of the leftover piece of laminate from the installation. When I got home, I wiped the floor with a damp cloth, and when the laminate dried, I applied wax to all the visible scratches. Then I polished the surface with a soft cloth. If you know exactly where the scratch was, you can still see it after applying the wax, but at a glance, the floor looks quite neat. Now my new task is to ensure that shoes are always taken off in the hallway. Time to Dry Rosehips I believe that rosehips should definitely be dried. In winter, rosehip tea helps with colds. Rosehips should be dried immediately after collection. The berries should be sorted, cleaned of debris, and damaged ones removed (no need to cut off the stems). Spread the rosehips evenly on a baking sheet and place them in an oven preheated to 40–50 degrees for 6–7 hours. You need to watch that the rosehips don’t burn, stirring them more often. You can periodically turn off the oven. When the berries become hard and dry, I take the baking sheet out of the oven and store the rosehips in boxes or bags. Who Made the Puddle?
