After a dry and relatively warm Saturday, the weather in Latvia will begin to change. Throughout Sunday, a precipitation zone will pass through the territory of the country, bringing rain in some areas, mainly in the western regions and Vidzeme. Despite the cloudiness, the sun will occasionally peek through. The daytime temperature will range from +14 to +17 degrees, and the wind will remain light or moderate, coming from the southwest and west. Residents of the western part of the country and Vidzeme should consider the possibility of brief rain when planning walks and trips. In other regions, precipitation will be less likely. In Riga, the day will be partly cloudy. By evening, a light rain is possible, and the temperature will rise to +15...+16 degrees. The night into Sunday is expected to be mostly cloudy, but generally without significant precipitation. With light winds in many areas, especially in the western and central parts of Latvia, fog and haze will form, which may persist in some places into the morning. Such conditions may reduce visibility on the roads, so drivers should be particularly cautious during the night and morning hours. At night, the temperature will drop to +6...+11 degrees, while it will be slightly warmer along the coast. In the capital, dry weather is also expected at night. The sky will gradually become overcast, with fog and haze possible in the second half of the night, and the temperature will be +9...+10 degrees.
