Scarlett Johansson vs. the Demon: The Cult Horror Returns

The creators of the new 'The Exorcist' have presented the debut teaser for the film, starring Scarlett Johansson. The film is directed by Mike Flanagan, known for his work in the horror genre. At the center of the story is Julie Miller, a single mother and New York police officer. She is involved in an investigation that leads to the capture of a serial killer-satanist known as Father Sunday. This role is played by John Leguizamo. Miller witnesses the execution of the criminal by lethal injection, but the procedure does not go as expected. After the maniac's death, the nightmare does not end: New York is swept by a new series of mysterious crimes. Soon the danger becomes personal for Julie. Her son is haunted by a mysterious demonic entity, and the heroine must confront forces that cannot be explained by conventional police investigation methods. In addition to Scarlett Johansson and John Leguizamo, the film also stars Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sasha Calle, and Jacobi Jupe. The premiere of the new 'The Exorcist' is scheduled for March 12, 2027.
