A survey showed that there is no consensus among OS voters on what the new coalition should look like. One third, or 33% of respondents, would support a government formed by OS, the National Alliance, and 'New Unity', 20% prefer a coalition consisting only of OS and the National Alliance, while 47% want to see a different model of government, including a coalition with the 'Latvia First' party (LPM) or 'Progressives', a minority government, or other options not included in the survey. The survey data indicates that voters of LPM, 'Progressives', and 'New Unity' are most unanimous regarding their preferred coalition model, while the electorate of OS and the National Alliance is divided among several scenarios for forming a government. The majority of 'New Unity' voters, or 58%, consider the coalition formed by 'New Unity', OS, and the National Alliance to be the most desirable, while another 31% support a government consisting of OS, 'New Unity', and 'Progressives'. Among 'Progressives' voters, support is dominated for a government consisting of OS, 'Progressives', and 'New Unity', which is considered the best option by the majority of respondents, while 16% prefer a coalition of OS and 'Progressives'. The position of LPM voters is also relatively unified - most of them would like to see LPM and OS in the government, while another 14% would support a coalition involving the National Alliance. Among National Alliance voters, 37% consider the best coalition to be the National Alliance, OS, and 'New Unity', while 35% would prefer a government formed by the National Alliance and OS. Another 15% of respondents could not specify their desired model of government. The survey was conducted from October 6 to 9, with 1005 respondents participating. The survey assessed public attitudes towards various possible scenarios for forming a new government after the elections to the 15th Saeima.
