Trump Cancels Broadcast of Execution of Major Terrorist Nidal Hasan

According to the president, Hasan is a criminal who killed 13 people, including a pregnant service member and her unborn child, and seriously injured another 32 individuals. Trump reminded that during Barack Obama's administration, the FBI intercepted emails between Hasan and radical preacher Anwar al-Awlaki, but the then-terrorism task force did not see any threat in them. In the opinion of the American leader, this oversight was a serious intelligence failure. It was initially thought that the broadcast of the execution could serve as a deterrent for other terrorists and demonstrate the position of the United States. However, as Trump noted, many good people spoke out against the demonstration of the criminal's death live or in any other visual format. The sentence against Hasan will be carried out by firing squad, as previously planned. At the same time, the close relatives of the victims will have the right to be present at the execution if they express such a desire, in order to witness justice.
