Talk of a soon-to-be addition to the musician's family began last summer. The first to report on Einat Klein's pregnancy was journalist Bozhena Rynska. However, Makarevich himself preferred not to comment on the rumors for a long time. Now, the 72-year-old artist has confirmed the joyful news in an interview with journalist Alexei Venediktov. Moreover, he revealed the gender of the future child: the couple is expecting a girl. ## The musician's fifth child Andrei Makarevich and Einat Klein live in Israel, where the artist moved in 2022 after leaving Russia. In the same year, the couple welcomed their son Eitan. Now the boy is preparing to become an older brother. For Makarevich, the future daughter will be his fifth child. From previous relationships, the musician has three adult children — son Ivan and daughters Dana and Anna. ## “They are bloodsuckers”: Makarevich spoke about late fatherhood In the interview, the artist admitted that raising a small child at an older age is not easy. According to Makarevich, children require constant attention, and parents have almost no free time left. “They are bloodsuckers because every second you are needed by them. You have to do this, show them that, play... There’s a short interval when they fall asleep. But they, the little devils, don’t sleep much,” the musician humorously shared. Despite the difficulties associated with raising small children, Makarevich and his wife are once again preparing for a family addition. When exactly the girl is expected to be born, the musician did not specify.
