According to the LETA agency, citing meteorologists' forecasts, the sky over most of the country will remain cloudy. However, in Kurzeme, the sun will occasionally peek through. Throughout the day, a light to moderate southern wind will blow. In certain coastal areas, its speed may be higher. The maximum air temperature will range from +8 to +13 degrees. Thus, despite the end of October, daytime temperatures will remain positive in all regions of the country. In Riga, Monday will also be predominantly cloudy. A brief rain is possible, but meteorologists do not forecast prolonged precipitation. With a light to moderate southern wind, the air temperature in the capital will rise to about +11 degrees. The weather conditions in Latvia are determined by the southeastern periphery of a cyclone. It is this influence that is associated with cloudiness and expected precipitation. Thus, the rainiest weather on Monday is expected in eastern Latvia, while residents of Kurzeme will have a better chance of seeing the sun.
